These are by far the best banana muffins we have made. I found the recipe in a wonderful blog I found. The girls and everyone else ate them. They are vegan and gluten free. I'm so glad I have found new and better recipes for the girls, and myself.

Costumes 2010
Here are the costumes
Thing 1 and Thing 2, The Cat in the Hat, Sam I am with the green eggs and ham.
Lela made her own fish costume.
Here is our Star Belly Sneetch.
I think people were impressed with the hats, but out of everything they were the easiest to make. Perhaps its just because I like making and wearing hats. Maybe if it wasn't 90 degrees in November I would wear them more. The sneetch costume was the hardest, and I believe most people didn't even know what he was. Oh well, the girls loved their Star Belly Sneetch. Dr. Seuss Rocks.

Here it is, finally...
OK, so I finally took a couple of pictures of it. My mom was nice enough to model it for me.
I made it out some yarn I had picked up at the thrift store a long time ago, when I first decided to learn to crochet. There were two bags full of random pieces of yarn, and I got them for $3 each. The yarn was mostly acrylic and it was taking up so much space, that I decided to make this here bag. I still have some left...

I made the lining out of two of my dad's old shirts. It has two little pockets, for the phone or anything small that will go in there. I don't want to have to dive in that bag once its filled with a beach blanket, towels etc.
I love it, even if it is a bit large, its a good thing I'm tall.
